Reporting to the Email Marketing Manager, the Email Marketing Specialist will play a key role as a member of an ambitious and passionate team. The candidate's main mission will be the production and deployment of emails for the brands that are part of Rona Inc., with the objective of supporting the company's marketing strategy and maximizing email channel traffic. The specialist will also be dedicated to ensuring the health of the subscriber database. Within the CRM/Loyalty team, you also possess skills related to data and marketing automation and are driven by customer experience.
Your role
• Be responsible for the email calendar of Rona, Rona+, and participate to the planning.
• Be responsible for briefing, production, coordination, QA, and deployment of newsletters in a multi-segment environment.
• Create and develop segmented tactics.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to coordinate email production and send-outs, ensuring process optimization.
• Ensure email template design and layout are optimized to meet our brand criteria.
• Maximize email channel traffic and build meaningful relationships with existing contacts and prospects.
• Proactively track and report on key performance indicators and provide optimization recommendations on a weekly basis.
• Contribute to the proper compilation, cleansing, segmentation, and management of database lists.
• Stay informed about marketing trends and best practices, including proposing A/B testing recommendations.
• Maintain a high level of service to internal clients.
• Assist in any other digital marketing efforts.
The qualifications we are looking for
• University degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent experiences and studies.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in email marketing
• Experience in planning marketing calendars, email marketing, e-commerce promotion, or branding.
• Significant experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and knowledge of tools for email creation, 1:1 communication, automation, and optimization.
• Experience in editing email templates and marketing automation is a plus.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification is a plus.
• Ability to present and explain a strategy and/or results consistently, concisely, and effectively to various audiences.
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team and with different groups, both internal and external, including suppliers, consultants, designers, and developers.
• High level vision, analytical and synthetic thinking; attention to detail, curiosity.
