As a compassionate Wales Beneficiary Attendant, you will assist residents in their daily activities while respecting their autonomy level as established in their care plan. You will use interpersonal skills and flexibility to provide a homelike environment alongside your team. In addition, you will use the skills from your law 90 training to administer medications and perform designated treatments.

Responsabilities :
  • Provide assistance and care to residents
  • Be at the centre of the residents' occupational and socializing activities
  • Administer medication and treatments to residents

Requested skills

  • Diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP) in Institutional and Home Care Assistance
  • Good knowledge of English and French. This position requires English to meet the residents' needs, who are primarily English speakers
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • Principes de déplacements sécuritaires des personnes (PDSP)
  • Law 90 training and supervision, mandatory
  • Relevant experience with seniors
