Description
The Senior Business System Analyst plays a pivotal role in enabling and optimizing enterprise technology platforms and business processes within Corporate Technology. This hands-on position is responsible for leading analysis, technical system configuration, and support activities for key business applications-including Coupa, Momentus, and Planview-within a product delivery team. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring systems are aligned to business needs and deliver measurable value. This role requires technical expertise and accountability for configuring systems, validating functionality, and capturing end-to-end business requirements to inform solution design.
Who you'll work withReporting to the Product Engineering Leader, Martech & Corporate Services, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Leads, IT Leads, and other stakeholders. You will also engage directly with business partners and external vendors to drive effective solutions and integrations. As a technical resource, you will work closely with engineering, architecture and platform teams to ensure configurations meet both functional and technical standards.

Lead analysis, system configuration, and support activities for enterprise platforms such as Coupa (procurement and spend management), Momentus (event and venue management), and Planview (portfolio and resource management).
Capture, validate, and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, configuration changes, and functional designs.
What you'll do
Lead analysis, system configuration, and support activities for enterprise platforms such as Coupa (procurement and spend management), Momentus (event and venue management), and Planview (portfolio and resource management).
Manage system administration tasks including user management, workflow optimization, troubleshooting, and platform enhancements.
Drive integration efforts between business applications (including Workday and Planview), ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment.
Capture, validate, and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, configuration changes, and functional designs.
Support and optimize database systems for analytics, reporting, and business intelligence.
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Product Managers, Business Leads, IT Leads, business partners, and external vendors.
Produce high-quality documentation: requirements, process flows, technical specifications, and reports.
Translate business needs into actionable system configurations and technical solutions.
Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to other analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Facilitate product delivery planning, including defining objectives, scope, and deliverables.
Ensure consistent application of analysis frameworks and controls.
Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and select solution alternatives.
Conduct data and process analysis, driving reengineering initiatives for greater efficiency.
Lead and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives for assigned products.
Support operational readiness, including impact analysis and documentation of process changes.
Identify and resolve issues uncovered during requirements gathering and analysis.
Assist with demand and capacity management for product delivery, including recruiting and managing analysts as needed.
Consult with clients to identify opportunities for process and technology-enabled improvements.
Perform hands-on configuration testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure platform changes function as intended.
Serve as the technical subject matter expert for system configuration decisions, release planning, and change impact analysis.
What you'll need
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in business analysis, with a focus on enterprise systems and technology platforms.
Minimum 5 years’ experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a senior analyst capacity.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with Coupa and Momentus platforms, including system administration, configuration, and integration.
Experience with Planview and integrations with Planview is an asset.
Experience with Workday and integrations with Workday is an asset.
Strong working knowledge of database systems (e.g., MS SQL, DB2, PowerBI, Excel Power Pivot, Python).
Data management experience and database knowledge is a strong asset.
Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or equivalent is an asset.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is an asset.
Process Improvement Methodology such as Lean or Six Sigma accreditation is an asset.
Experience with leading practices in business analysis, product delivery, and process improvement.
Ability to translate business requirements to technical specifications and actionable system changes.
Excellent knowledge of software systems and ability to specify user needs.
Experience performing hands-on configuration in enterprise platforms, with a strong understanding of functional and technical dependencies.
Ability to analyze, document, and validate system configuration requirements with technical accuracy.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in team environments.
Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and complete tasks to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with a proactive customer service focus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and leadership ability.
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
