About Brucejack
Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

You’ll stay in private rooms with individual washrooms, enjoy balanced meals prepared by our exceptional culinary team, and have access to a 24-hour snack and sandwich bar. This is six-month contract position supporting site-based operations at Brucejack on a fly-in/fly-out rotation.
Your Impact
As Officer, Construction Management, you will play a vital role in coordinating and supporting construction execution of the BJAR KM 58-63 Project at the Brucejack mine site. You will help drive the success of projects by ensuring planning, logistics, cost control, and risk management efforts align with operational goals. Your work will directly support construction progress, contractor coordination, and cross-departmental alignment, contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of infrastructure projects in a remote mine environment.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
- Facilitate and mentor the project delivery team, fostering an impactful culture and ensuring team members have the skills and support needed to excel
- Coordinate construction execution, including purchasing, logistics, business partner onboarding and reporting activities in alignment with project schedules and stakeholder requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation including change requests, progress tracking, and stakeholder communications
- Collaborate with EPCM partners, internal departments, and contractors to monitor progress and mitigate risks
- Support reporting and dashboard development for construction progress, cost updates, and contractor performance
- Facilitate site meetings and ensure clear communication across engineering, procurement, and construction teams
- Assist with risk assessments, compliance tracking, and quality control activities
- Maintain strong relationships with operational teams to align construction goals with production needs
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
- A self-motivated team player with a positive attitude, attention to detail, a willingness to learn and a passion to succeed
- Several years of experience in project administration, construction coordination or contractor management roles, preferably in mining or heavy industry
- Working knowledge of construction projects, project controls, change management, and contract administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP; experience with project tools including Avetta, Procore and MS Project is an asset
- Strong analytical skills to track progress, budgets, and performance metrics
- Clear and effective communicator-verbal and written-with the ability to interact across internal and external teams
- Experience working in rotational or remote site environments is highly desirable
Your Work Environment
Location: Brucejack Mine, British Columbia
Rotation: 13 days on / 13 days off / 2 days travel (12-hour shifts)
Work Setting: Remote camp-based mining site with access to meals, fitness facilities, and recreational amenities
Accommodation: Provided at site; fly-in/fly-out from various hubs across BC and Alberta
Physical Demands: Work may include prolonged periods of standing or walking outdoors and exposure to changing weather and industrial site conditions

The expected salary range for this role is CA$81,100 - 101,400 . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
