Description
About Brucejack
Brucejack is one of the highest-grade operating gold mines in the world, located in beautiful British Columbia approximately 65 kilometers north to Stewart.
The mining method at Brucejack is long-hole stoping using a combination of longitudinal and transverse mining, depending on zone width and orientation. The ore is crushed underground and conveyed to the surface where the fully enclosed mill produces gold-silver doré bars and flotation concentrate. Brucejack offers significant near-mine and district-scale exploration opportunities with exciting potential to realize resource and reserve growth.
Our operation is fly-in/fly-out with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.
As a member of the Brucejack family, we put your health, comfort, and safety first. You’ll stay in a private room with an ensuite (sink, shower, washroom), enjoy delicious balanced meals prepared by our exceptional culinary team, made-to-order sandwiches, power bowls, a weekly ramen bar, and Sunday Sundae bar, as well as have access to a 24-hour snack and sandwich bar. We also have plenty of ways for you to relax and stay active, with a gym, fitness classes, a golf simulator, and seasonal activities like snowshoeing and hiking. For creative downtime, our music room is a fully equipped space where you can play or listen to music. Our Indigenous Cultural Alliance Committee is hosts numerous days of awareness and celebration throughout the year to recognize the unique culture across the site. Our Recreation Committee, run by employees , organizes activities and events to make camp life fun and bring people together. The committee also plans holiday events, charity raffles, and outdoor events, helping create a warm and friendly community.
