About Brucejack

Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

Your Impact

As a Miner 2 , you’ll play a key role in executing underground mining operations and supporting safe, efficient production at the Brucejack Mine. You’ll contribute to the development of the mine plan by operating heavy equipment, maintaining infrastructure, and building your skills through structured training-while keeping safety at the forefront of everything you do.

As Part of Our Team, You Will
  • Operate underground mobile equipment and surface support systems (e.g., crusher, conveyors, rock breakers)

  • Conduct scaling, ground support, and infrastructure repairs to support mining advancement

  • Complete thorough pre-operational inspections, equipment checks, and basic maintenance

  • Follow safe work procedures, identify hazards, and help implement effective controls

  • Extend underground services (ventilation, air, water, and sump systems)

  • Maintain shift documentation and report safety or equipment issues to supervisors

Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  • 2-4 years of underground experience

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license

  • Experience operating heavy equipment or working in trades/construction is preferred

  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and underground mining practices

  • Physically fit and comfortable working in challenging underground environments

  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a diverse, team-based setting

Your Work Environment
  • Location: Brucejack Mine, remote fly-in/fly-out operation

  • Schedule: 13 days on / 13 days off + 2 travel days (day and night shifts)

  • Conditions: Underground mining, extreme weather, close team quarters

  • Requirements: Pre-employment medical screening, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and use of required PPE

The offered base salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies, with consideration to internal equity. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
