About Brucejack
Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

As a Production Geologist, you will play a key role in optimizing ore extraction by delivering accurate, timely geological insights. Your work will directly improve grade control, support short-term mine planning, and ensure safe, efficient production while contributing to long-term operational excellence. This is a fixed term role, to be terminated on December 31st.
As Part of Our Team You Will- Champion safety through active participation in site programs and daily practices
- Collect and interpret geological data (mapping, core logging, drill results)
- Support short-term planning through risk assessment and geological input
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and operations teams
- Maintain and update geological models and production data
- Review mine designs and ensure accurate ore/waste classification
- Contribute to reconciliation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology with 1-3 years of underground mining experience
- P.Geo or GIT designation (or eligibility)
- Experience in production geology and grade control practices
- Proficiency in mining/geology software (e.g., Vulcan, Deswik) and MS Office
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work safely in underground, remote environments
- Fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) remote camp operation
- Private accommodations and full-service onsite facilities (meals, gym, recreation)
