A career as a Senior Advisor Compensation Processes and Systems at National Bank means acting as an expert in the optimization and governance of processes and systems related to total compensation. You play a key role in modernizing operational practices, ensuring data reliability, advancing systems, and reducing operational risks associated with annual salary management activities, incentive plans, and provisioning.

Leveraging your expertise in complex processes and multi‑system environments, you directly contribute to strengthening operational efficiency and supporting strategic decisions that impact all employees and managers across the Bank.

Your role
  • Be responsible for planning annual compensation cycles
  • Ensure the optimization and continuous evolution of compensation‑related processes and systems (salary administration, incentive programs, provisioning)
  • Act as an expert reference for processes and systems with HR, Finance, Audit, and Payroll teams to ensure consistency, integrity, and reliability of activities
  • Analyze existing processes, identify operational issues and risks upstream, and propose sustainable, system‑oriented solutions
  • Structure, document, and enhance process quality to support collective efficiency and long‑term sustainability of practices
  • Contribute to the ongoing modernization of practices through an in‑depth understanding of data flows, system dependencies, and required controls
  • Collaborate in developing communication and enablement strategies to simplify complex processes and concepts for practical application
  • Play an influential role in the evolution of practices by ensuring a cross‑functional and operational perspective of activities
Your team

Within the Human Experience and Performance sector, you are part of the larger Total Rewards team composed of approximately 45 colleagues and report to the Senior Director, Planning and Operational Performance.

Prerequisites
  • Bachelor’s degree related to the field of activity and 5 to 7 years of experience in a role focused on HR process and systems optimization
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SAP is an asset
  • Advanced expertise in compensation, including annual cycles and variable compensation programs
  • End‑to‑end perspective on compensation processes, strong analytical skills, and professional rigor
  • Collaborative leadership, proactivity, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to influence, simplify complex concepts, and guide stakeholders toward the best solution
  • Ability to challenge existing ways of working within a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong interest in governance, data quality, and operational risk prevention
