A career as a market operations analyst in the Market Operations team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in operations support and equity and options trading. This role allows you to make a positive impact on our organization thanks to your skills in operational coordination, incident management, and quality control, your experience with trading systems, and your knowledge of products and markets.
Your role
- Manage multiple public email inboxes according to business needs
- Process discrepancies and non-settlements before market opening
- Analyze and reconcile accounting data
- Respond to requests from various business lines
- Collaborate with advisors and teams to ensure service fluidity
- Participate in continuous process improvement
Your team
Within the Market Operations sector, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team reporting to the Director of the Trading Desk. The team covers trading platforms and flows for FBN, GP1859, NBIN, NBDB, and GED/Institutional, and works closely with traders in Montreal and Toronto. We are hiring to strengthen real-time support, execution quality, and operational resilience in a context of rising volumes and modernization projects.

Requirements
- College diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance or administration
- Experience in market operations and trading support (equities/options)
- Proficiency with IMOST/SOMA, Excel, and T80
- Ability to manage high volumes with rigor
- Knowledge of internal platforms and NBIN, NBDB, FBN environments (an asset)
