A career as a Senior Back-End Developer in the Wealth Management team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in designing and optimizing application services in a cloud environment. This role allows you to make a positive impact on our organization through your expertise in modern technologies, your mastery of DevOps best practices, and your ability to turn technical challenges into innovative solutions.
You will actively contribute to the Bank’s digital transformation by supporting wealth management and the investment value chain. Your role is essential to ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of back-end systems, while enhancing the client experience and fostering collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Your role:
- Design and develop microservices in Java using Spring Boot and Spring Batch
- Implement high-performance and secure RESTful APIs
- Integrate messaging solutions via MQ Server, Kafka, or MFT
- Work with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, optimizing SQL queries
- Deploy and manage applications in AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and Terraform

Within the Wealth Management sector, you’ll be part of a large team of 20 colleagues and report to the Director of the Internal Maintenance and Development team of the Manufacture and Retail Train.

Prerequisites:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or other diploma in computer science or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT as a back-end developer
- Master agile development methodologies and the Java language; Python experience is an asset
- Have knowledge of enterprise integration frameworks (e.g., Apache Camel)
- Be familiar with DevOps tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Docker)
- Have experience in a banking environment (an asset)
- Hold the AWS Associate Developer certification (an asset)
