We are a dynamic and high-performing LowCode champion team seeking a talented Business System Analyst to join us and elevate our capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity within the bank, where Wealth Operations and Lines of Business can collaborate with our technical team to automate manual processes using Microsoft Power Platform.
You are versatile, with strong analytical and communication skills, and you have experience working with technology teams to deliver LowCode applications using agile methodologies.
Your job
  • Promote our team's vision and capabilities across the NBC Wealth business teams
  • Collaborate with Wealth Business and Operations teams to identify and prioritize manual activities to be automated
  • Assess automation opportunities and be able to communicate complexity versus business value, data points, and business rules
  • Document current processes and identify process improvements
  • Liaise with Solution Architects and Developers to determine data requirements and create data mappings
  • Work closely with Product Owners to coach and mentor citizen team members across Wealth in documenting their processes
  • Participate in the design and delivery of Power Platform applications, taking on various roles such as Analyst, Scrum Master, QA Tester, and Product Owner as needed
  • Set up Jira boards and lead the translation of business requirements into Epics and Stories.

Prerequisites
  • BSc/BA or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant field, with proven experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis, system architecture, and business processes
  • Proficiency in database programming, software development lifecycle, and experience with project management methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, and experience with Wealth systems (e.g., AS400, OSS/ISM, SOMA) and Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Dynamics 365, and SharePoint
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. The knowledge of French is also mandatory.
