A Production Coordinator, plans and manages manufacturing orders and coordinates the flow of work and materials to meet delivery expectations of forecasted and actual sales. The position will oversee the shipment of all customer orders to meet customer demands with timely shipping metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • With guidance from operations and supply chain, develop production and inventory management plans to support material, labor resources, and finished good requirements
  • Manage manufacturing orders based on material requirements planning (MRP) and coordinate the flow of material throughout the production cycle
  • Coordinate with Purchasing for availability of raw materials
  • Monitor the integrity of Methods of Manufacturing (MOM) and material and labor accuracy
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for ERP transactions and processes; conduct required training with employees in production departments and office
  • Manage strategic inventory levels of manufactured products to meet corporate goals, including obsolescence, DIO, turns, and Hold for Release (HFR) items
  • Ensures all ERP transactions and production documents are completed timely
  • Assist in maintaining monthly KPI
  • Ensure communication and visibility of production flow with the sales department
  • Supervise shipping transactions within border crossing regulations as well as internal
