4th Year or Journeyperson Millwright (Construction)
Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. is seeking an experienced Millwright for the large-scale Duffin Creek Project in Pickering, Ontario. This will be a long-term position starting in early March 2026. This is a great opportunity to work on a significant infrastructure project with one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies and be part of a dynamic, industry-leading team!
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
We are looking for millwrights who have experience with:
- Reading & interpreting interferences from all drawings
- Establishing control points with accuracy
- Experience with PVC/HDPE and stainless-steel piping
- Select and apply appropriate materials, fasteners, and installation techniques.
- Install material handling systems, machinery, and related components.
- Commission and align equipment to meet operational standards.
- Install bearings, seals, packing, piping systems, valves, fans, blowers, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Able to install various types of mechanical equipment and architectural hardware.
- Able to transfer levels over large distances with accuracy.
- Mechanical bolt-up
- Experience with industrial and/or commercial construction is an asset.
- Operate forklifts, booms, cranes, and other hoisting and rigging equipment.
