Description
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness, theTalent & Performance Program Manager(Contract)is responsible fortheend-to-end delivery and quality executionof performance management, talent planning (including successionplanning), andengagement survey processes. This role ensures programs are implemented to a highstandard,insights are translated into practical actions, and leaders are supported with clear tools, guidance, and materials.
This roleoperatesas ahands-on leader and subject matter expert, partnering closely with HR Business Partners and enabling consistency, rigor, and clarity across the organization.

Compensation: $94,000 - $141,000 CAD base pay annually plus annual short-term incentive Key Responsibilities
Own Core Program Delivery
- Lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of performance management and engagement survey cycles.
- Ensure processes (and corresponding technologies) are executed with excellence, consistency, and strong user experience.
Translate Strategy into Execution
- Turn enterprise talent strategy into clear tools, guidance, and leader-ready materials.
- Lead the design and development of senior leadership materials related to performance, engagement, and talent discussions.
Leader & HR Enablement
- Support HRBPs and leaders with practical coaching on goal setting, performance assessment, feedback, and engagement action planning.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for day-to-day questions and escalations.
Data & Insights
- Own the interpretation of performance, engagement, and talent data, moving beyond reporting to identify themes, risks, and opportunities.
- Translate insights into clear implications for talent and business decisions, incorporating DEI, and partnering with HRBPs to support focused efforts from insights.
Talent & Engagement Processes
- Support leadership talent reviews and succession discussions by synthesizing insights and highlighting strengths, risks, and development priorities.
- Lead engagement survey execution, including timelines, communications, training, and action planning support.
- Strong track record of performance in Talent Management, Performance Management, or HRBP-related work.
- Strong execution mindset with the proven ability to successfully run complex processes end to end.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
- Confidence working with leaders and HR partners.
- Solid HRIS experience (SuccessFactors preferred).
- Strong judgment, organization, and communication skills.

For part-time roles, salaries are adjusted according to scheduled hours.In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in Maple Leafs annual short-term incentive plan.
