Description
The Corporate Real Estate (CRE) department oversees the management of approximately 8.0 million square feet across 400 global locations, supporting Manulife's centralized operations and various decentralized operations in Asia.
This position is based in our Toronto Global Headquarters Office, and operates under a Hybrid Working Arrangement (3 days in office).
The Opportunity
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Analyst with a strong aptitude for data-driven decision-making and technical expertise in Global Corporate Real Estate operations. This role is pivotal in integrating, analyzing, and managing data to optimize management reporting processes, thereby leveraging data as a strategic asset aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and possess advanced capabilities in data analysis, including mining data at granular levels. Responsibilities include transforming data into actionable insights and comprehensive reports for management and internal stakeholders, ensuring high levels of accuracy and precision. Additionally, the role will be involved in driving initiatives and leading projects within their areas of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting on the global real estate portfolio, enhancing efficiencies and automating existing procedures.
- Facilitate timely data collection, rigorous review, validation, and integration while collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones to ensure high accuracy in reports.
- Compile and maintain extensive datasets, leveraging automation to refine reporting processes and track global real estate metrics.
- Perform periodic reviews and updates to maintain consistency and data quality across the portfolio; propose process improvements.
- Lead projects/initiatives, for CRE or enterprise scale, or support as needed
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards by collaborating with stakeholders to meet business needs and support data-driven insights.
- Maintain and update the CRE SharePoint site, managing content, permissions, and structure.
- Create and deliver effective PowerPoint presentations to communicate key insights.
- Collaborate on comprehensive business cases to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
- Produce portfolio analytics to support decision making.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in data quality, collection, and reporting management, aligned with the company's "Easier. Better. Faster." Initiative.
- Develop and maintain presentation templates for business leaders.
- Manage reporting requests and submissions, addressing issues and ad-hoc requests from management.
- Research projects as assigned.
- Support annual budget process, data validation and consolidation.
- Support immediate and wider team, and other tasks as assigned.
Required skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Real Estate Management.
- Postgraduate education (Master’s degree, MBA, or recognized designation) is an asset.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Proficiency in Power BI.
- Demonstrates initiative and the ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to anticipate issues, raise red flags, and work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of coding languages (SQL/Python), an asset.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Team-oriented and motivated, with a drive to succeed.
- Creative thinker with a solution-oriented mindset, unafraid to challenge the status quo.

Salary range is expected to be between
$61,350.00 CAD - $102,250.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
