The Manager, Sales Enablement acts as the operational engine and strategic integrator within Manulife Bank’s Sales Enablement & Effectiveness function.
This role is accountable for turning enterprise strategy into executable, measurable programs that equip field sales, advisors, and broker channels to drive sustainable revenue growth and client experience excellence.
The Manager orchestrates cross-functional initiatives that connect people, process, and platforms across Sales, Marketing, Product, Compliance, and Operations to reduce friction and enhance productivity. They establish repeatable program management and governance disciplines that ensure every enablement initiative is rooted in data, anchored to key performance indicators, and aligned to broader organizational priorities.
As a hands-on leader and trusted advisor, the Manager guides a team of specialists responsible for strategic initiatives and front-line sales support, championing a culture of execution excellence and continuous improvement. This position requires a blend of strategic foresight, operational rigor, and relationship management to translate business ambitions into realized sales enablement outcomes that directly impact advisor satisfaction, pipeline conversion, and organizational efficiency.
The Manager acts as the critical bridge between vision and execution, driving momentum, governing priorities, and ensuring the sales organization remains fully equipped for success in a regulated and competitive marketplace.
Job Requirements
- 7 + years in sales enablement, program management, or sales operations within financial services or comparable regulated industries.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives from strategy to execution.
- Deep understanding of CRM ecosystems (Salesforce preferred) and enablement technologies (Seismic, LMS, Power BI or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Exceptional organizational and program-management skills with attention to detail and risk awareness.
- Experience balancing governance requirements with speed and innovation.
- Strong communication and presentation skills tailored to senior audiences.
- People-leadership experience with a track record of developing talent and driving engagement.
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills within matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusive leadership.
Preferred Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (MBA an asset).
- Change Management certification (PROSCI/ADKAR).
- Bilingual (English/French).

- Determines sequencing and priority of enablement initiatives in consultation with the Director.
- Authorizes vendor engagements and budget expenditures within delegated limits.
- Establishes operational governance standards and SOPs for enablement projects.
- Escalates strategic risks, dependencies, or scope changes to the Director and leadership committee.

Salary range is expected to be between
$92,900.00 CAD - $142,900.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
