Working in partnership with Sales leadership, Enablement peers, and Human Resources, the Manager, Field Enablement & Coaching establishes performance frameworks that integrate skill development, behavioral reinforcement, and operational discipline.
The Manager acts as both a strategist and practitioner, designing coaching models, delivering targeted interventions, and equipping field leaders with tools to manage and measure performance effectively.
They lead by example, creating an environment of trust, continuous improvement, and accountability. Through thought leadership, influence, and execution excellence, the Manager enhances Manulife Bank’s reputation for advisory excellence, client focus, and a culture of empowerment.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in sales, enablement, or coaching roles in financial services.
- Deep understanding of broker/advisor distribution, sales cycles, and client relationship management.
- Proven experience leading performance improvement programs or coaching frameworks at a national level.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and influence skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Analytical capability to interpret data and connect insights to business outcomes.
- Experience managing or mentoring others to deliver consistent coaching practices.
- Demonstrated understanding of compliance, regulatory, and risk frameworks within a banking context.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to balance coaching with accountability.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication with executive presence.
- Experience using Salesforce and data analytics tools (Power BI preferred).
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline.
- Certification in coaching, sales leadership, or change management.
- Bilingual (English/French).

- Support enterprise sales transformation initiatives and represent field perspectives in steering committees.

Salary range is expected to be between
$92,900.00 CAD - $142,900.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
