Description
This exciting role with Manulife Financial will have the Account Executive meeting with consulting houses for new sales in finalist meetings and product demonstration while providing best-in-class service and support for an inforce block of benefits business. The candidate will be working on the large accounts (400 employees and more) and will be part of a team of 6 Account Executives under the responsibility of our Regional VP, Quebec, Group Benefits.
Responsibilities:
As a Corporate clients Account Executive (400 Employees +), the successful candidate will be accountable for:
Responding to Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Montreal market from consulting houses and participate in finalist meetings
Accountable for the effective management of the assigned block of in force business to ensure achievement of conservation and profitability objectives as outlined by Manulife.
Accountable for the understanding, management and delivery of technical information to the consultant and clients community.
Accountable for the development and delivery of concepts to aid in the education of consultants and clients. From a sales and service perspective you are involved with all aspects.
Promoting Manulife's group products and service capabilities and act as a resource for product and service consultation
The ideal candidate has a passion for winning and being part of a dynamic and rapidly evolving sales environment. They can work autonomously but also able to collaborate as part of a larger sales team. Manulife Account Executives are rewarded with a competitive compensation model which includes base salary plus variable compensation, share ownership, great vacation package, car parking.
Qualifications:
University degree, preferably major in mathematics
Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
Ideally, 8 years of experience in Group benefits, but not limited to
Excellent communication skills, including proficiency at making and presenting presentations
Strong knowledge of group benefits products, risk management and underwriting principle
Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills together with strong active listening skills
Ability to negotiate and influence effectively throughout the organization
Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and
