A career as a Senior Analyst within the Subsidiaries Accounting team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in financial analysis and accounting processes. Your role
- Participate in the monthly financial statement closing process and ensure the quality of the information produced
- Analyze significant variances, interpret fluctuations, and propose required adjustments
- Contribute to the preparation of regulatory and statutory reports, as well as audit files
- Document, standardize, and continuously improve the accounting processes within your business area
- Collaborate with internal partners to provide relevant financial analyses and support the team’s various mandates
- Actively participate in projects impacting the accounting and regulatory components of the subsidiaries under your responsibility
Your Team
Within the Subsidiaries Accounting sector, you are part of a large team of 12 colleagues and report to the Senior Director. Our team handles a variety of files (insurance activities, deposit-taking institutions, custody of securities, corporate trusts, securitization, etc.) with the goal of ensuring the integrity of the financial data under our responsibility, while playing an advisory and support role for our partners.

Prerequisite
- Hold the CPA professional designation
- Have 2 to 5 years of experience in financial accounting
- Proficiency in Excel and artificial intelligence tools
- Demonstrated ability to work rigorously in a demanding and structured environment
- Curiosity and strong interest in continuous improvement
- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Adaptability
- Excellent interpersonal skills
