YOU LOVE
- Sell (promote) our mechanical services to customers;
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality after-sales service for both internal and external customers;
- Respond effectively to customer complaints in order to maintain after-sales satisfaction levels in line with standards established by John Deere and the company;
- During slower periods, visit customers to maintain strong business relationships and stay informed about their issues and needs.
ROLE
- Coordinate the operations of the service department;
- Manage all maintenance and repair requests within the department;
- Plan and schedule the department’s work activities;
- Prepare and oversee billing for work orders generated;
- Ensure optimal use of administrative tools used in the department’s daily operations (computers, software, etc.);
- Collaborate with the DRO in implementing action plans aimed at increasing service revenue;
- Participate in management meetings organized by the DRO and propose solutions to encountered issues;
- Supervise the daily management of department staff and participate with the DRO in hiring personnel;
- In collaboration with the DRO, ensure that all staff receive appropriate training in a timely manner;
- Work closely with the parts and sales departments to achieve their respective objectives;
- Ensure proper management of occupational health and safety;
- Perform other related duties.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- High school diploma or vocational diploma (DEP) in mechanics or a related field;
- Minimum of three years of experience in a position as a service advisor, mechanic, or shop foreman;
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills;
- Knowledge of John Deere products and competitors is considered an asset;
- Strong organizational skills.
