Are you a senior process engineer passionate about optimization and field analysis? Under the supervision of a technical director recognized for her rigor and people-oriented leadership, you will contribute to improving processes, supporting plants, and leading major projects within a highly specialized team.

Desired Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biotechnological, or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in pulp and paper (virgin or recycled pulping).
  • Strong listening, diagnostic, and collaboration skills with mill teams.
  • Ability to quickly build trusting relationships.
  • Bilingualism (French/English). (Canada and United States)
  • Availability for travel (approximately 33%, sometimes more depending on projects).

  • Annual Salary: $100,000 – $130,000

What we expect from youOperations Support
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain process standards to ensure efficiency, quality, and environmental performance.
  • Diagnose process deviations, analyze their causes, and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Implement industry best practices.
Engineering Projects
  • Propose process concepts and develop flow diagrams.
  • Perform mass balances (using simulation software).
  • Sizing equipment, pumps, piping, and control systems.
  • Participate in the installation and commissioning of new processes.
Research & Development
  • Conduct process tests, studies, and characterizations.
  • Evaluate equipment efficiency and adjust operating conditions.
  • Supervise testing of new technologies and equipment.
