Our client, a continuously growing Canadian manufacturing group with a strong entrepreneurial culture, is looking to enhance its operational performance through a national impact role.

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Optimization Engineer, with both strategic and operational expertise, capable of transforming multi-site manufacturing operations through measurable gains, a structured approach, and strong influencing skills.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (custom products: a plus).
  • Solid Lean/Six Sigma foundation and proficiency in continuous improvement tools.
  • Analytical mindset, autonomy, flexibility, and results-oriented leadership.
  • Bilingualism (French/English).
  • Availability to travel to Canada and the United States (10-15% of the time).

You will play a key role in:
  • Optimizing processes: flow, cycle, bottlenecks, productivity.
  • Improving performance: OEE, yield, scrap rate, quality.
  • Leading automation projects: CNC machining, robotics, vision systems, equipment modernization.
  • Optimizing line layout: safety, ergonomics, operational efficiency.
  • Refining profitability through cost analysis (ABC) and financial simulations.
  • Harmonizing practices across multiple sites with a Lean and continuous improvement approach.
