Description
Our client, a Canadian leader in the distribution industry, is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Branch Manager to oversee the full operations of a strategic location on Montreal’s South Shore. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on manager known for strong leadership, business development capabilities, and the ability to engage and motivate teams in a fast-paced, performance-driven, customer-focused environment.
You will be responsible for the overall management of branch operations, ensuring an efficient work environment and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Working closely with the leadership team, you will help achieve sales, customer service, and profitability objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma (DEC) completed.
- Minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in branch management, service center management, or a distribution environment.
- Proven experience managing personnel and financial performance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to positively influence and motivate teams.
- Results-oriented approach focused on customer service and continuous improvement.
- Solid operational management and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to analyze operational and financial data to support decision-making.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where multiple priorities must be managed simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the branch.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 10 employees.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, performance, and respect.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and handle situations requiring special intervention.
- Actively contribute to business growth and increased sales performance.
- Analyze operational and financial results and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage budgets, expenses, and key performance indicators effectively.
- Oversee inventory management, stock control, and branch logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Work closely with regional teams to support the achievement of organizational strategic objectives.
- Serve as a visible and hands-on leader, actively involved in day-to-day operations.
