Canada Games: Quebec City, 2027

The Canada Games are the country’s largest multi-sport competition and will bring together more than 3,500 high-calibre athletes and coaches in Quebec City from February 27 to March 14, 2027, across 22 sports. Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, the Games celebrate the perseverance and sportsmanship of young Canadian athletes.

Your Role

History is made with the right people. 

  • Develop the overall site dressing and signage strategy across all Games venues, in collaboration with partners, to ensure a cohesive and impactful visual experience ;
  • Implement clear, user-friendly, and inclusive signage to effectively guide athletes, visitors, volunteers, and dignitaries, while ensuring smooth and safe circulation ;
  • Contribute to the production schedule with suppliers and ensure deadlines are met ;
  • Conduct needs assessments for signage and dressing across the different venues ;
  • Interpret site plans to strategically plan the placement of each visual element ;
  • Receive and sort signage materials at the warehouse ahead of the on-site installation ;
  • Coordinate and supervise the installation of all visual identity and signage materials before the Games ;
  • Support venue teams during the Games, ensuring maintenance, compliance, and repairs as needed ;
  • Help create tailored training for volunteers responsible for signage installations and upkeep ;
  • Apply your talent to challenges that emerge along the way.
 

Keys to success

Want to join our team? Here's what it takes:

  • College or technical diploma in administration, recreation, sports management, communications, marketing or a related field. A university degree is considered an asset ;
  • 3 years of experience in coordinating site dressing and signage in an event, cultural, or sports environment ;
  • Knowledge of large-format printing: an asset ;
  • Experience managing volunteers is an asset ;
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken) ; 
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license ;
  • Based in the Quebec City region or ready to relocate to be part of the adventure ;
  • Criminal background check required.
