Canada Games: Québec, 2027

The Canada Games are the country’s largest multi-sport competition and will bring together more than 3,500 high-calibre athletes and coaches in Quebec City from February 27 to March 14, 2027, across 22 sports. Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, the Games celebrate the perseverance and sportsmanship of young Canadian athletes.

Your Role

Ready to be part of history? The 2027 Canada Games are seeking a passionate coordinator, Sports and Venues. Under the direction of the director, Sports and Venues, you will contribute to the success of competitions at the country's largest multi-sport event. From schedule planning to equipment management and volunteer mobilization, your expertise and leadership will allow athletes to experience a memorable sporting experience. In collaboration with venue owners and national sport organizations, you will ensure that every detail meets the Games' standards of excellence.

Your planning talent will allow you to:

  • Plan and coordinate competitions in every detail (schedules, results, officials, equipment)
  • Participate in venues setup
  • Guide and mobilize volunteer teams in venues and sport competitions management
  • Collaborate closely with national sport organizations
  • Act as the resource person for certain sports and venues during the Games
  • Contribute to the development of venue management policies and procedures
  • Collaborate on writing the venue management manual
  • Analyze needs and manage sports equipment acquisition
  • Ensure compliance with excellence standards at competition venues
  • Put your talent to work on challenges that emerge along the way

Keys to Success

Want to join our team? Here's what it takes:

  • DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in marketing, communications, or a related field (a university degree is an asset
  • 3 years of experience in project management or sporting events
  • Strong written and spoken French; working knowledge of English
  • Experience in volunteer management: an asset
  • Knowledge of the sport environment: an asset
  • Criminal background check required
  • Authorization to work in Canada
