ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The position would be ideal for a junior to intermediate legal administrative assistant with Corporate Services and/or Technology experience who is looking for a bigger challenge in their next position. Don’t fret, the firm truly understands the meaning of “work hard play hard” - with the ability to work 1 to 2 days from home per week (after your 6-month probation) to ensure you can save on time and money for your commute!
ABOUT THE POSITION
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing lawyers’ emails and calendars
  • Preparing letters, document comparisons and correspondence
  • Reviewing drafted documents
  • Maintaining a filing (electronic/manual) and bring forward system
  • Organizing meetings with clients
  • Liaising with internal administrative departments

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Corporate Securities and/or Technology LAA
  • A Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate or related
  • Proficiency in 3E, iManage and/or Docusign are a major asset
  • Transactional experience is a major asset

  • $50,000 - $70,000 (depending on experience)
