Our client is a leading general contractor in British Columbia. They focus on delivering mid-to-large commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects, with an emphasis on innovation, collaboration, and sustainability.

About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead projects from concept through to closeout. You will oversee commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects. The role balances office and site responsibilities while mentoring project teams and fostering strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup and delivery of mid-to-large commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects ($30M+)
  • Manage full project lifecycle: pre-construction, design review, estimating, budgeting, tendering, procurement, construction, and closeout
  • Oversee budgets, cost control, forecasting, and scheduling (Class D, B, Tender levels)
  • Serve as primary liaison with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Mentor and coach project managers, coordinators, and superintendents
  • Support proposals, business development, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • 8+ years with a reputable general contractor managing mid-to-large commercial or institutional projects ($30M+)
  • 5+ years in a direct Project Manager role
  • Advanced budgeting, forecasting, and cost control skills
  • Skilled in risk management, tender recap, and procurement
  • Proficiency with MS Project, site logistics, and methodology development
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and client-facing skills

Compensation

  • Base salary: $150,000-$165,000 + bonus potential
