Are you an experienced Rental Property Manager looking for your next big career move with a well-known and respected Vancouver-based Developer?

Compensation

  • $100,000 - $120,000 per annum
  • Annual discretionary bonus

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of 500-800 residential units.
  • Ensure buildings are safe, clean, and operating in line with financial expectations.
  • Recommend and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital requirements.
  • Perform ad-hoc property management duties, as assigned.
  • Lead a team of 10-15 site employees, ensuring daily responsibilities are completed efficiently.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and accountability to site staff.
  • Act as a corporate resource for complex building and tenancy-related issues.
  • Prepare and manage budgets; monitor financial performance and provide variance commentary.
  • Source and manage subcontractors; authorize purchase orders and expenditures.
  • Review all lease-related paperwork for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with the BC Residential Tenancy Act (RTA).
  • Assist with preparation and attend Residential Tenancy Branch (RTB) hearings and arbitrations.
  • Respond to building and tenant emergencies as required, including after-hours availability on evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing a rental portfolio
  • Thorough understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act
  • Experience forecasting operational budgets
