Senior Estate Litigator

A well - regarded and expanding Vancouver litigation boutique is seeking a talented estate litigation lawyer to join their busy team. Known historically for their expertise within ICBC defense this firm has nimbly diversified their practice into multiple areas of litigation. They provide the ability to work 100% remotely and senior lawyers dedicated to mentorship. Additionally, they understand everyone’s life circumstances are different and offer reduced billable targets.

Responsibilities
The incumbent lawyer will be stepping into a busy litigation practice alongside 3 other members of the estate litigation team. The work will involve a wide range of estate matters, including will and trust disputes, powers of attorney, problem executors, trustee and executor obligations, and more. Ideally the incoming lawyer would have the ability to work both autonomously and in collaboration with other members of the team.

Qualifications

• Be called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
• 4 - 8+ years post call experience with an emphasis on estate litigation matters
