Personal Lines Account Manager

Our client is currently seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join their team in Downtown Toronto! In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and servicing personal insurance policies, supporting clients with questions and claims, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of personal lines clients, handling new business, renewals, policy changes, claims support, and day-to-day inquiries
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring timely follow-up and clear documentation in Acturis
  • Collaborate with insurers to secure optimal coverage terms while balancing underwriting guidelines and client needs
  • Identify opportunities to expand client coverage through cross-selling, referrals to other divisions, and proactive policy reviews
  • Oversee administrative tasks such as processing documents, managing accounts receivable, and ensuring timely issuance of renewals and liability certificates

Qualifications

  • At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in the insurance industry, particularly in managing and servicing personal lines books of business
  • Solid understanding of personal insurance policies and guidelines from various markets
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities
  • Must hold a valid RIBO license
  • Capable of juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
