Pay Range: $50,000 - $80,000

Position Purpose:
This position is part of the transportation planning team and is responsible for booking appointments for inbound loads from vendors and cross-dock or distribution facilities into various DC locations. The coordinator collaborates with the Manager of Transportation Planning and DC teams to ensure that booking requirements and guidelines are followed by vendors and carriers.
Position Responsibilities:
• Experience with inbound appointment processes and general transportation flow
• Conduct daily booking activities using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and order management platform
• Schedule inbound load appointments promptly and accurately
• Create the daily Distribution Centre booking schedule and resolve exceptions
• Match scheduled appointments with available delivery windows
• Assist vendors, DC teams, and other parties with inbound appointments
• Support emergency and rush order operations
• Report on appointment bookings and schedule efficiency
• Perform additional planning and operations tasks as needed
Experience/Knowledge Required:
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Prior experience with a Transport Management System (TMS) is an asset
• Familiarity with SAP TM preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good time management skills
• Knowledge of Canadian transportation regulations and licensing (Federal and Provincial)
• High school diploma required (post-secondary education preferred)
• CITT designation preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
