Manager, Financial Reporting and Analysis

Key responsibilities include overseeing full-cycle accounting for two or more entities and supporting additional tasks related to financial reporting, internal controls, and system maintenance.

About The Position:
Reporting to the director of finance, the Manager, Financial reporting will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements with clear variance analysis
• Mentor and manage a team of 3+ accountants, including performance feedback and hiring support
• Deliver external reporting packages, including covenant and quarterly reporting packages
• Work in collaboration with external auditors and support the year-end audit process.
• Oversee the financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow activities for 2+ entities
• Maintain and optimize the ERP system and related financial reporting tools
• Streamline internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.
• Proactively drive cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving processes, closing gaps, and increasing operational efficiency
• Ad hoc duties as needed

Requirements:

• Designated CPA
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Public practice experience is an asset

Compensation And Benefits:

• Salary: $110,000 to $120,000
• 3 to 4 weeks of vacation

• Hybrid work schedule (2 days in office)
