About The Position
The Legal Assistant will support lawyers within the Construction Litigation and Commercial Group, coordinating workflow across support services and ensuring timely completion of tasks such as document production, file management, and administrative work. Reporting to both assigned lawyers and the Team Leader, this role includes calendar management, meeting coordination, client communication, document review, billing support, and collaboration with other departments. The successful candidate will take an active interest in understanding client needs and maintaining exceptional service standards.

The Requirements
Must Haves

  • Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA) Certificate
  • Experience providing administrative support in Construction Litigation
  • Willingness to work in-office full-time
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant
  • Strong understanding of Civil Litigation, including court filing and service procedures
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and research tools
  • Typing speed of approximately 60 wpm
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail, initiative, and professionalism

Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge of ACL, iManage, and PrimaFact
  • Experience supporting commercial litigation teams
  • Familiarity with CRM or client-management databases

Compensation

  • Salary range of $50,000-$70,000, commensurate with experience
