Responsibilities

  • Manage property operations on a daily/monthly/annual basis.
  • Prepare, implement and manage annual property budgets and capital budgets and review and approve financial statements.
  • Work with operations team for the effective maintenance and management of the properties including overseeing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ensure competitive contracts and in-house maintenance standards are maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and life safety requirements.
  • Inspect properties and ensure optimal standards are maintained.
  • Approve and authorize budgeted expenditures for operating expenses up to authorized level.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, manage collections and default proceedings with legal counsel.
  • Work with accounts payable to ensure vendors are paid in a timely manner.
  • Provide superior tenant-relations through regular and proactive engagement and communication including frequent visits.
  • Liaise with leasing team for tenant onboarding, retention and move-outs and turnovers.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience as a Commercial Property Manager.
  • Experience forecasting operational and capital budgets.
  • Access to a vehicle and a driving license.
