Job Description: The Clinical Informatics Nurse Specialist applies clinical knowledge and expertise to provide leadership, development and implementation support, and teaching related to the implementation of the electronic health record in Saskatchewan Health Authority. The Clinical Informatics Nurse Specialist functions as an internal consultant within SHA to lead, organize and coordinate assigned complex, organization-wide transformation initiatives to facilitate their optimum development and implementation. The Clinical Informatics Nurse Specialist will support the Digital Health department and Clinical Working Groups and as such must demonstrate through personal commitment, support for the strategies, values, culture and beliefs of the health authority and the strategic and operating plans of the functional or operational area. The incumbent must support innovation and contribute to a positive working climate which is client centric

Experience
- 3 years experience working as an operating room nurse
- Experience in business process mapping and process redesign
- 3 years experience working directly with SIS application
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
