Job Description:

The HR Summer Student will support the Human Resources team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. This role provides hands-on experience in core HR functions and is ideal for a student pursuing study in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities

· Support employee records management and HR data entry

· Help coordinate training sessions and HR initiatives

· Respond to general HR inquiries in a professional manner

· Perform administrative duties as assigned

· Assist with HR projects as required

· Research information to support HR policies, procedures, and reports

Qualifications:

· Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

· Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)

· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Location: Father Kyran Kennedy Catholic Education Centre 90 Mulberry Street, Hamilton, Ontario, L8N 3R9

Hours of Work: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily

Salary: $20.00/hour plus 4% vacation
