What does your role involve?
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Prepare and verify billing and invoices
- Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable
- Enter customer payments and deposits
- Verify daily transactions within the Accounting Department
- Ensure that employees in other departments understand and correctly perform their duties in accordance with accounting policies and procedures
- Work closely with the Controller to ensure all accounting reports are presented as accurately as possible and within established deadlines
- Participate in the monthly closing of the books
- Perform any other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- DEP or DEC in Accounting, Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1 to 3 years of accounts receivable experience, ideally in the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of a hotel property management system (PMS), such as Lightspeed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Good knowledge of accounting software
- Bilingualism in French and English required due to regular interactions with an international clientele
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, autonomy, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
