HR Business Partner YOUR MISSION OF EXCELLENCE
The HR Business Partner acts as a reference in labor relations and as a strategic partner to managers. He or she is responsible for the proactive management of the work climate, talent development, training, and employee retention, in close collaboration with the HR Director.
WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH Labor Relations (Exclusive Responsibility)

Act as the primary point of contact for all labor relations matters.

Apply and interpret the collective agreement, labor laws, and HR policies.

Manage disciplinary files, grievances, complaints, and investigations (harassment, conflicts).

Actively participate in labor relations committees and maintain a constructive relationship with the union.

Prepare analyses, data, and recommendations required for negotiations.

Implement preventive actions and initiatives to improve the work climate.

Advise and support managers in the day-to-day management of their teams.

Develop their people management and leadership skills.
-
Intervene proactively in high-risk situations.

Identify key talents and development needs.
-
Design and deploy training and development programs.
-
Contribute to succession planning.
-
Maintain and evolve competency matrices.
-
Analyze KPIs and provide strategic recommendations for retention and employee engagement.

Work closely with the HR Director and HR Advisor.

Contribute to key HR projects and transformation initiatives.
THE IDEAL PROFILE
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations.
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role within a unionized environment.

Member of a professional order (CRHA, CRIA).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Strong listening skills.
-
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Strong aptitude for supporting employees on a daily basis.

Fluency in French.

Functional spoken English to communicate with employees.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Strong negotiation skills.
