Job Description

You are part of a team responsible for IT infrastructure, and your main responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the IT infrastructure required for the proper functioning of internal applications (hardware, disk space, backups, etc.).

  • Monitoring and analyzing system and network performance.

  • Designing, writing, and keeping technical documentation for networks and systems up to date, and acting as a resource person for IT technicians.

  • Checking daily server backups and applying fixes in case of errors.

  • Performing backups and recovery of network equipment configurations. Keeping software and systems up to date.

  • Ensuring the security of networks, servers, and the data they contain.

  • Integrating software upgrades as they become available.

Qualifications

  • College or university degree in computer science.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a systems and/or network administrator.

  • Experience in configuring, operating, maintaining, and monitoring network equipment and servers.

  • Experience in server virtualization with VMware. Advanced experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell, and GPO deployment.

  • Experience with hyperconvergence, SAN iSCSI storage networks, and cloud computing, particularly Office 365 and Azure.

  • Experience in system and network security.

  • Microsoft certification (MCSE, MCSA, MCITP...), CCNA, and any other certification in networking, servers, and security would be a major asset.Job
