Hello, I'm Bianka, Senior Team Leader at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll positions. I handle both temporary and permanent recruitment in the Greater Montreal area.

We are seeking a passionate Financial Controller with solid experience in manufacturing finance to manage accounting operations and actively contribute to the financial performance of our Pointe-Claire site. You will play a key role in optimizing processes, ensuring the quality of financial information, and supporting strategic decisions in a context where production, raw material costs, and operational efficiency are critical.

Your responsibilities:
* Oversee all accounting operations in a manufacturing production environment;
* Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements;
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS or ASPE) and internal policies;
* Manage the financial closing processes and review reconciliations, production costs, inventories, and variance analyses;
* Coordinate internal and external audits;
* Conduct advanced financial analyses;
* Participate in the preparation of the annual budget, the monitoring of results and the analysis of variances;
* Develop and strengthen internal controls and financial management practices;
* Optimize accounting processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of ERP systems;
* Mentor, support, and develop the accounting team;
* Participate in cross-functional projects, particularly those related to operations, production, and manufacturing efficiency.

Your Profile
* CPA in good standing (required);
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration;
* 7 to 10 years of experience in accounting/finance, including some experience in a manufacturing environment (a major asset);
* Team management experience;
* Proficiency with a manufacturing ERP system;
* Strong skills in financial analysis, auditing, and month-end closing;
* Rigor, organizational skills, leadership, and excellent communication skills.
