MissionI am looking for a chief accountant for a manufacturing company in Repentigny.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Supervising the accounting team
-Maintaining and updating cash flow forecasts
-Managing banking relationships, credit cards, and currency transfers (USD/CAD)
-Approving electronic payments (EFT, ACH, wire transfers), including international suppliers
-Overseeing the chart of accounts and the creation of general ledger accounts
-Coordinating month-end and year-end processes, including audits
-Monitoring sales taxes and corporate income tax in the United States in collaboration with external firms
-Analyze open orders and track unbilled shipments
-Identify and coordinate grants applicable to various entities
-Develop and update financial policies and procedures
-Lead special projects related to process improvement and systems (ERP)
-All other related tasks
Your Profile:
-CPA required
-At least 2 years of experience supervising a team
-Experience in the manufacturing sector
-Experience with intercompany transactions
-Bilingual in French and English to communicate with divisions in the United States
