How you’ll make an impact
Champion integrity at FCC by applying expertise in ethics, compliance and risk management and providing trusted advice on ethical matters and conflicts of interest.
As an Ethics Advisor, you’ll support the operations of FCC’s Ethics program through various tasks, from day-to-day operations to developing practical guidance and helping identify, assess and address ethical risks. Your strong analytical thinking, communication and collaboration skills will enable you to deliver expert advice to employees and leaders, contribute to corporate initiatives and strengthen ethical practices across the organization.

What you’ll do
Support the day-to-day operations of FCC’s Ethics program, including developing and documenting advice and guidance
Develop and implement various tools that support the operations of the Ethics program and enable FCC’s employees and leaders to perform according to our Code of Conduct
Build and maintain processes, procedures and tools to monitor and address ethical risks and conflicts of interest
Monitor ethics and compliance practices, benchmark against best practices, and recommend and implement program improvements
Develop, coordinate and deliver ethics-related training, education and ongoing support
Prepare internal and external reports, track metrics, analyze trends and escalate issues as required
Provide administrative support to whistleblower processes and investigations with discretion and sound judgment
What you’ll bring to the team
Required qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in business, law, public administration or communication
Minimum five years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Strong business judgment, problem-solving ability and comfort working with complex and ambiguous issues
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide employees and leaders through complex ethical situations
Advanced proficiency in both official languages (English and French)
Preferred qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of ethics, conflicts of interest, codes of conduct and market standards and best practices
Advanced knowledge in ethical matters and legal frameworks pertaining specifically to the federal public sector
Experience supporting a risk management function
Experience or knowledge in one of the following fields is an asset: insider threat management, third-party integrity assessments, ethical AI
