Description
Our client, a company specializing in logistics coordination, is seeking an accounting clerk for a temporary part-time assignment lasting 4 to 6 months.
Schedule: 24 hours per week
Work location: Candiac (in-person)
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for a total of 24 hours
Salary: $27 to $30
Duties and responsibilities:
- Accounts receivable & accounts payable
- Bookkeeping
- Verifying and approving supplier invoices
- Entering data for customer invoicing
- Closing out the month
- GST and QST tax reporting
- Bank reconciliation in the Transnet accounting system
- Data entry and creating Excel or Word files
- Assist with drafting and editing documents
- Assist with ensuring the smooth operation of the business
- If necessary, effectively manage problematic situations and refer them to the appropriate person to resolve the issue quickly and maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Ensure full customer satisfaction by providing accurate information and addressing specific needs.
- Archiving of accounts receivable and accounts payable files
- Internal management of full accounting duties, including liaising with the external accountant
