Project Manager - junior

You will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish: from analyzing client needs to ensuring technical and administrative follow-up. You will play a key role in planning, coordinating fieldwork, drafting studies, and supervising activities, all while ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Your versatility will allow you to contribute to both technical aspects and client relations, as well as resource management.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Assist senior project managers with tasks related to project schedules
  • Supervise work on site, including sample collection when necessary
  • Oversee analysis follow-up: sample preparation, coordination with laboratories, etc.
  • Manage material and human resources needed for project completion, including supply orders
  • Ensure project monitoring: compliance reports, client relations, etc.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the project
  • Prepare detailed reports on project progress, incurred costs, and results obtained
  • Support other departments when available: geophysical surveys (MASW or others), concrete expertise, or other scientific/environmental/geotechnical studies

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognized diploma
  • Engineer-in-training (EIT) or member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Valid driver’s license
