Position Overview
This role is focused on delivering exceptional customer service by regularly visiting assigned customers, providing basic merchandising support, technical assistance, and product training within a designated territory. As an entry-level position, the emphasis is on effective customer interactions and supporting sales and service activities under the guidance of more experienced team members. Training is provided, and success in this role depends on reliability, attention to detail, and maintaining positive, professional customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities and Success Criteria
Responsibilities include:
- Product setup and display
- Supporting in-store merchandising and promotional installations
- Monitoring customer inventory levels
- Performing occasional deliveries
- Providing basic sales and territory support
- Maintaining clear communication with store personnel
- Accurately reporting activities using mobile tools and CRM systems
- Collaborating closely with drivers, sales teams, and supervisors
Success in this role is demonstrated through:
- Adherence to visit schedules
- Accurate merchandising and inventory execution
- Excellent customer service
- Willingness to learn
- Consistent compliance with company policies and safety standards
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- A valid Class 5 driver's license, a clean driving record with no major violations, and the ability to travel daily within the assigned territory
- Good knowledge of Montreal and surrounding areas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in French (English beginner)
- A strong customer-service orientation and the ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills
