As a key member of our sales team, you will play a strategic role in expanding the market for standard products within your territory. You will be at the forefront of building strong distributor partnerships, driving commercial growth, and making a meaningful impact in a dynamic and evolving industry.

While this is a remote position, the Territory Sales Manager must be available to travel occasionally to our facility for machine approvals, customer visits, and internal coordination.

Main Roles, Responsibilities & Mandates:
  • Visit distributors, maintain strong and trusting relationships;
  • Promote and grow sales of standard products;
  • Prepare quotations;
  • Manage and follow up on ongoing sales opportunities;
  • Support distributors during customer visits;
  • Act as a technical expert for the distribution network;
  • Analyze customer production flows to identify improvement opportunities;
  • Propose solutions to optimize production processes while considering technical and operational constraints;
  • Develop training programs for distributor technical staff and deliver training sessions regularly;
  • Work with the Sales Director to establish and implement the commercial strategy for the territory;
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to select and evaluate distributors within the territory;
  • Participate in various trade shows;
  • Ensure that all sales documentation is accurate and up to date at the time of sale;
  • Participate in project handoff meetings with the project manager;
  • Take part in final factory acceptance;
  • Perform any other related duties.

Requested skills

This role is for you if you have:
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or any related field;
  • Basic knowledge of industrial electricity, instrumentation, and controls (an asset);
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • A genuine interest in traveling throughout Canada and the United States;
  • Ability to travel occasionally to our Daveluyville facility for machine approvals and customer visits.
