SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Person who assumes responsibility for carrying out construction, renovation, conservation and installation projects. She/he meets with internal clients to clearly identify project objectives.
She/he organizes all the activities related to the realization of the projects, such as the definition of the concept, the preparation of the plans and specifications, the calls for tenders and the supervision of the works.
She/he coordinates the activities of professionals and contractors and performs the administrative and financial control of the projects entrusted to him/her.

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture;
• Member of Ordre des architectes du Québec or Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.
Experience:
• Two (2) years of relevant experience in project management.
Knowledge and Abilities:
• Good knowledge of MSSS legislation and regulations is an asset;
• Ability to communicate theoretical and practical knowledge, as applied to coaching and training;
• Ability in computer office applications;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Ability to develop solid working relationship with colleagues, partners and members of the community;
• Numerical ability to conduct data analysis;
• Ability in spatial and form perception to prepare design specifications;
• Ability to work unsupervised and team work skills;
• Excellent critical thinking, synthesis, organizational and decision making skills;
• Sense of accountability, resourcefulness, vigilance and high adaptability capacity;
• Flexible, discrete and empathetic;
• Practical, attentive to detail and analytical.

LANGUAGE
• Fluent in French and English;
• Fluent in Cree is an asset.

OTHER
• Valid driver’s license to travel to different communities;
• Available to travel inside and outside of the Eeyou Istchee territory as required;
• Possibility of telework, depending on operational needs and after agreement with the employer;
• Please note that this is not a permanent condition and the employer reserves the right to request regular physical presence in the office.
