Crawford is hiring a Liability Claims Supervisor to join our team in Montreal, Quebec. The position location is flexible, and we can offer in-office, hybrid or fully remote working arrangements.

The successful candidate will supervise adjusters, monitor quality, and assist the Branch Manager with administrative tasks, strategy implementation and mentoring while completing files in accordance with provincial licensing requirements.

The Supervisor will also have adjusting responsibilities, handling some claim files as needed.

This role requires frequent interactions in English and requires reading and preparing documents in English on a frequent basis.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor adjusting practices of assigned team.
  • Examine policies and settle claims while maintaining claims costs and abiding by provincial licensing regulations.
  • Investigate, collect and analyze claims information.
  • Accurately record, report, and present files.
  • Work with Branch Manager to maintain client relations.
  • Maintain accurate billing and time and expense records.
  • Conduct performance reviews, identify training requirements and monitor employee job satisfaction.
  • Some travel to claim sites is required from time to time.



Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of technical claims adjusting experience in liability, casualty, property or related areas
  • Personal and commercial AMF license
  • Strong bilingual skills in both French and English
