Provide support to the special education team and foster collaboration around a coordinated, holistic approach adapted to the needs of our student clientele.

Plan, organize, and help coordinate activities in this sector in accordance with strategic orientations. Ensure the delivery of high-quality services while complying with the legal framework and upholding the principles of professional ethics. Work in close collaboration with the pedagogical team and faculty. Provide psychosocial support to the student clientele. Provide on-call support during the academic year, including establishing and managing crisis response in accordance with the directives established by senior management.

Requested skills

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in psychoeducation, psychology, social work, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • Have at least five (5) years of experience in the field; ideally working with a First Nations clientele.
  • Have experience as a team leader or in team coordination.
  • Have a good understanding of First Nations culture and sociocultural realities.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft 365.
