Position Overview:
The Engagement Manager acts as a strategic partner for assigned customer accounts, focusing on aligning consulting services with client business objectives and long-term success. Working closely with Account Executives and internal teams, the role supports account strategy, sales initiatives and ensures cohesive engagement models that enable high-quality customer experiences. Through a consultative approach, the Engagement Manager helps customers navigate complex technology initiatives, removes engagement barriers, and contributes to the growth and maturity of Compugen’s consulting practice as a trusted Tech Ally.

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic engagement lead, partnering with Sales Account Executives to identify, qualify, and develop consulting opportunities within existing and new customer accounts;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates to understand their needs, expectations, and priorities;
- Serve as the primary negotiator between clients and candidates, ensuring competitive and mutually beneficial agreements on salary, benefits, and overall compensation packages;
- Serve as a client-facing advisor, positioning Compugen’s consulting services and capabilities to address business challenges and drive measurable outcomes;
- Drive account growth by uncovering upsell and cross-sell opportunities, contributing directly to pipeline development and revenue generation;
- Collaborate closely with account managers and the recruitment team to align client demand with consulting capabilities and talent availability;
- Engage executive and senior stakeholders to understand business priorities, transformation initiatives, and investment drivers;
- Translate customer needs into consulting solutions, statements of work, and service offerings that clearly articulate value and return on investment;
- Support pre-sales activities, including solution design, pricing strategies, proposal development, and client presentations;
- Own the commercial relationship post-sale, ensuring alignment between contracted services, evolving customer needs, and future opportunities;
- Monitor customer satisfaction and engagement health to proactively drive renewals, expansions, and long-term partnerships;
- Act as a trusted escalation point while maintaining a strong commercial focus on relationship preservation and growth;
- Advocate for customer and market feedback internally to continuously refine consulting offerings and go-to-market strategies;
- Ensure service delivery aligns with promised outcomes to reinforce Compugen’s value proposition and support continued business development.
- 6+ years of business development experience in a consulting and staffing environment
- 5+ years of relevant contract management experience.
- Proven experience delivering services to government and large enterprises organisations
- A keen understanding of overall IT service delivery and a solid understanding of how customer requirements dictate service delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute a customer experience strategy and drive measurable customer success.
- Strong understanding of statistical, analytical, and financial principles and processes.
- Ability to interact successfully with business and IT.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with direct and indirect reports.
- Strong overall infrastructure knowledge, with advanced technical skills considered an asset.
